Reason for incorrect timestamps on messages and “last seen” status

Incorrect timestamps? We recommend that you review the time and time zone configuration on your mobile smart device.

It is advisable to configure the mobile smart device time and date settings to “Automatic” or “Network Provided”. Your mobile provider will automatically set your mobile smart device to the correct time and date.

Alternatively you can set the time & date and your time zone manually.

To configure your time zone manually:

― for Android: Settings > Date and Time > Select time zone.

― for iPhone: Settings > General > Date and Time.
